Default SEO and Google Rankings

Hello, Warriors!

I have some questions regarding SEO and Rankings that I hope can be answered. Here are the questions:

1. What should I optimize on my webpage?
2. What should I do to totally and completely optimize my webpage for the SEs(excluding backlink building)?
3. How long does it take for backlinks to be indexed?
4. How do I check my current position in Google for my keyword other than going through the results page-by-page?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Shaun

Onpage Optimization:

1. Title <= the most important! Should contain your keywords!
2. First Paragraph <= with your keywords
3. H1, H2 tag <= Use this as your subtitle and includes your keyword.
4. Bold <= Bold some of your keywords
5. Get your keywords onto Title, first paragraph, middle paragraph and last paragraph.

These are common ways to optimize your web content, however, you should put more attention to off page optimization.

I personally strongly believe in the IPK-type (infoproductkiller) optimization. Well at least it works great for my websites. I have no off page optimization, and they are on the first page of google.

You basically have to optimize your title, meta tags, and use the inter-linking of your website pages, using your keywords. One keyword should be your main one, plus you can have several secondary keywords, that you will rank on as well.

Also, put a link tor two on your website to authority sites on the topic. I usually link to Wikipedia.

I do not use anything in bold, or underlined.

Plus, by optimizing your websites by this strategy, you will also get great AdWords QS.
