I have a Goarticle which I've built up to ranking on page 1 (and even position 1) for a number of relevant keyword phrases. It's receiving up to 170 page views per day. My problem is I'm not getting any sales and conversions from the affiliate. So, I'm contemplating changing the affiliate links and about 20% of the related text to a different affiliate. Do I risk losing all my rankings by doing this? I also suspect that the affiliate I'm using now may be shaving clicks and/or sales. Besides having a relative buy through my site, how do I double check if the affiliate is cheating me? Thanks George |

Hi George, I've changed my GA's a lot and any SERP shuffle is pretty temporary. Conversion IS a problem with GA traffic - I'm working on this problem now. At the very least, put a call to action aff link at the very top of your article before it starts and create a unique Clickbank tracking ID for each aff link on your site. |

I just read an article about this, that is, do you make changes to a website or in this case an article, at the risk of losing rankings, if it means a chance for more conversions? The answer is, make the changes, get the conversions. Pageviews means nothing if you have no sales! |
