I screw up my blog and how long does it takes to re-index it?

Hi Warrior friend,

I screw up one of my blog (didn't do proper keyword research and didn't use the all-in-one-seo plug-in correctly).

So, I am thinking to revamp the website. How long does it take to re-index my new blog and get good ranking in google for my new blog ? and would it get into Google Sandbox ?

Frustrated warrior here.

If your blog already has some pagerank (say 3 or higher), I would say it shouldn't take long at all. You might want to check your old stats, and find the most popular pages, and at least do a redirect from those top few pages to your new content.

What exactly will your revamp include?

I did the same with my blog Jimmy Thakkar blog few months back.

Changed all links, design, wp version etc. EVERYTHING except theme and content was changed.

It did not go in the sandbox and is doing just fine.

When you revamp your site, please take note this:

1. Identify all keywords that generating traffic to your site, find the url, record all down.
2. After redesign, restore those url and do 301 redirect to your new page.
3.Bookmark your new site and ping each bookmarks.
4. Your site main page should be re-index in 2 days, while the rest may take up to a week or more...

The biggest factor in getting re indexed will be building backlinks to your new keywords and content...and social bookmarking will help..also ping your site when your done..shouldnt take too long...good luck -Mike Linley

Just keep your posting rate and back links to every posts, about a month or so your site should reappear...
