Useful Adsense and Clickbank experiement I want to share

Here is my adsense experiment that I think useful to other warriors I want to share.

1. I set-up 11 blogs in different high paying niches through different free hosting. I did this a month before PR update schedule.

pets
health care
financial
real estate
forex
legal
immigration
seo
career and jobs
weight loss
hair loss

2. I posted 4 of 6 unique articles in each of the blog.
3. I created 1 article review for each blog and cross-linked all blogs.
4. I created 1 unique article for each blog (11) and submitted all of these articles to articlebase, articlealley, goarticles, ezinearticles, and amazines.
6. I completed the total activity for 5 days.
7. Set back and relaxed for 10 weeks and disguised I never created these blogs... I did not set my own expectation.
8. After 10 weeks, I have the following result.

pets - pr1, 346 visitors from google, $18.56 adsense earnings,
health care - pr0, 87 visitors from google, $4.85 adsense earnings
financial - pr0, 27 visitors from google, $4.78 adsense earnings
real estate - pr0, 56 visitors from google, $2.35 adsense earnings
forex - pr1, 689 visitors from google, $52.69 adsense earnings, $48 cb earnings (2 products sold)
legal - pr1, 17 visitors from google, $0 adsense earnings
immigration - pr1, 789 visitors from google, $14.56 adsense earnings
seo - pr1, 1,986 visitors from google, $48.56 adsense earnings, $121 cb earnings (6 products sold)
career and jobs - pr0, 382 visitors from google, $0.96 adsense earnings
weight loss - pr0,78 visitors from google, $1.21 adsense earnings, $56cb earnings (1 products sold) plus $1.86 amazon
hair loss - pr0, 706 visitors from google, $15.98 adsense earnings, $15.35 cb earnings (2 products sold) plus $2.56 amazon

The reason I created these blogs is to identify which niche is doing good and which one can easily compete. based on the result, I found out that legal, financial, and weightloss are real tough niches when it come to competition. I decided to maintain only 4 to 6 of them so that I can concentrate on promotion. Career and jobs is the least performer...

All backlinks are from cross linking only and article directories but if your content is unique, others are reposting your article giving you more backlinks...

If you are having difficulties finding a good niche, you may try to do the same but during the experiment, try to minimize your workload and do not expect high return....

Wait you got onto google's SERPs using new blogs with 4-6 unique articles in them?

How did you do that? I have a blog with around 7 articles on it and google refuses to put it anywhere useful!

That was a really exciting experiment.

And your backlinking were just the cross-links and those 5 article-submissions per site? so all together 55 extern links, and cross-linking. thats really cool. how does your site ranks? for one high searched keyword on the top position, or for some more long-tail-keywords?

Guys, here are some of the free hosting that I used... You can upload wordpress script in all of them. Others even have fantastico and sitebuilder where you can install wp in just few clicks... You may also try to find some in google if you really need more free hosting..

More project...

I am making another blog where I will put my 3 to 4 hours per day... Since I am not really good in writing, my plan is to post articles from old magazines.. I found a lot of useful old magazines ( in very good niche) in a magazine store 2 blocks away from my place. I purchased 3 magazines last week for $1.80 each just to check for articles... I checked the articles and non of them are published online.. Of course I am going to put the source when I post them to my blog to avoid any problem with copyright infringement... There are tons of old magazines there and I can see a very good opportunity to post unlimited non-duplicate articles online...

Since I did a a little in SEO I did not expect higher ranks but I can tell you that there are 4 competitive keywords in pet blog that ranked in google's first page.. most blogs are in 2nd to 3rd pages of google... which is not too bad actually..

Yes, the forex blog is kicking high in google with long non-formatted keywords and I myself wonder also how this happens.. seo is so unpredictable sometimes..

ezinearticles takes in only unique articles. Do you mean to say for each article in your blog you need to submit an additional 5 unique articles to the article directories? Do you hire ghost writers?

I wrote all articles for my blogs and wrote another set of articles for article directories... I did everything myself... When I'm in mood, I can write 10 500-word articles in a day... I always wait EZA to approve the articles before posting them to to another directories with some slight modifications on words and phrases...

All wordpress... and I'm using a theme where tags are visible so the search engine robots can index all pages with tags.. There are some well-known themes that has poor performance in tags... like prosense...

Excuse my ignorance, but reading the Adsense terms and conditions I thought they didn't allow any other Ads on your blogspot page. If that's not true, how do you do it? With the html gadget? I sure would like to add a clickbank Ad.

Carlos, you can have other ads on your page as long as they are NOT CONTEXTUAL ads. For instance, you couldn't have Yahoo contextual ads on a page with Adsense ads. But ads for Amazon, Clickbank, or any other affiliate program would be fine.

I guess you can tell; I'm really new at this. So I use the HTML gadget and paste my affiliate banner link in that gadget? Maybe I'll just try that and see what happens. I just don't want to screw up blog.

Are you sure about this ? I think you can put other contextual ads along with adsense. Only thing u have to make sure is that those ads shud not look like google ads.

Non-contextual ads are allowed.. That includes amazon, ebay, clickbank, and other affiliate ads..

Yes Kate... I only use google keyword tool to look for some specific keywords for my selected niches... In most articles that I posted in these blogs, I have a maximum of 8 keywords and the density actually is maximum of 2 of each keyword in the article body... I then linked these keywords to other posts with the same keywords for onsite optimization...

For example, I have 3 articles with same "forex keywords", I linked each "forex" keyword in each article to "forex" tag page...

Example myseite.com

Since I have 3 articles with the same "forex" keyword, those 3 articles are also pointing to the above link...
