How can a search engine be improved?

What I would say

a) Providision optionally load more text summary from this site as part of search results page. (Show more from this site link, loading more text+images into the search result).

b) Ability to remove sites that look uninteresting in the same session (this is different from searchwiki), then you can collect some interesting sites and then visit them one by one.

What are other ideas? What can be done differently and at the same time user-friendly when it comes to search engine improvements?
