Is there a way of finding the backlinks of popular EZA articles?

The top viewed article(in the last 90 days) in a niche I am now in has got 12,000+ views since May. I'm curious to see just how they have got that amount of views and how much backlinking has a part to play in it. I tried inputting the url into the Yahoo Site Explorer but nothing came back. I find it hard to believe it has no backlinks though

The article itself is decent, but nothing special IMO both in terms of the content and the keyword density etc. The author must be doing a great job to get that many views, and I assume pretty decent clickthrough's/sales. I'm just really curious as to how they have done it as I want to be in their position in the future

Backlinks Checker Tool - Backlink Watch is pretty cool, showing you the backlinks, anchor text, etc. It can't tell you how much traffic comes from each referrer though.

I did some more checking, and strange (or not), for most articles in the 90 days most viewed list of several niches I tried, backlink watch shows no back links.

Not sure what's going on with that.

Check back in a month or 2, most backlinks not show immediately, you have to wait... another reason is they only need few superb high PR links, that's enough.
