I don't think it is Press Releases Lost their SEO value in Google's Eyes, but few people know how to do that well. After all, it is not easy to do so. You need something of substance to talk about in the press release which must grab people's attention. This isn't always easy and depending on your niche, it could be virtually impossible. |

No, PR does not lose its real value in view of G. But yes, people are misusing the resources and taking unusual advantage for publishing less important news rather articles.
