Hi, I've got a new homepage, with 40,000 pages. Was wondering what the best and quickest way is to get all these pages indexed by google? Thanks for your advice. |

Google webmaster - submit sitemap. Then go do some social media marketing. That includes social bookmarking.

I would like to know too... From my knowledge, there is no way a new site will be index with 40,000 pages, it will probably be filtered forever, unless you show the content slowly in schedule. |

This sounds a difficult task to achieve straight off the bat. If it's on a WP blog you can ping your posts and then social bookmark both pages and pings. I still don't think google will index all your pages within 12 months.

Create an updated SItemap.xml with all internal pages there and submit it into G Webmaster tools. Your design must be suitable with proper internal linkings and beed crumbing , if possible.

I've not put up 40k pages, but have put up 20k+ on several occasions. All of the sites save one were unique and it was indexed entirely over the course of a year to 18 months. The one with non unique content was not completely indexed ever. It's not inconceivable that a large site couldn't pop up all at once. Sometimes people will turn existing info into a site and then launch it all in one fell swoop. Search engines know this and don't apply a penalty, but if it's a site with a bunch of plr or an export of an article directory, don't expect much love from the engines. | |

I think it will all just take a matter of time, provided that you have your site properly interlinked etc. A good sitemap can also help.

Well, I didn't say all of it would be indexed at once, but that it's the fastest way to go at it. It will take a long time to get all of it indexed and I don't know the algorithm related to that.

submit site map to google. Get more backlinks to your home page. Do more bookmarks to some of your inner pages. Keep on get backlinks to inner pages too. Your all the pages will be indexed, but in this way, it will take at least 15-20 days. |

Thanks, guys. The site is well interlinked, you can get to any page in the website within 3 to 4 clicks. It's a product comparison site. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good site were I can create such a large sitemap. Only sites I've found limit you to put up a sitemap of 500 URL's. How would I go about creating such a large sitemap? |

You need to post it slowly, and increase as time pass, that would get all content indexed! or Auto blog won't even survive it... Quote:
