How much a PR 5 link worth ? The link comes from a 9 year old site with only 3 OBLs on the index page.

I would never value a link based on PR. I prefer links from pages that have a large amount of traffic that is targeted towards the topic of my page. The amount and type of traffic is where the real value is for a link.

Then how do you explain the effectiveness of "Angela" type backlinks?

Most of those pages have 0 traffic (literally zero).

I would pay more for a pr5 link that gets lots of traffic but I am more interested in the link juice from the pr5 link. Is this going to be a permanent link or only there for a set period of time.
