Does this kind of method works? Because if possible, I don't want to buy a lot of domain name. |

It definetly works! But you do not want to go with Squidoo if you want to make a sustainable, long term stream of income with that URL/keyword. If you know you are good in keyword research and can find niches where competition is poore, where the first 20 SERP also have Web 2.0. pages ranking - than go ahead. |

If you plan to use free hosting that can be ranked easily, use blogger instead of squidoo... The reason is, the latter is very strict now and you may lose your page for some reason...

Hi Keivn, I think that you can use Squidoo as a landing page for your PPC campaign to begin with and perhaps test and see if the keywords you are targeting are profitable. But I strongly suggest that when you start seeing the money come in, that you reinvest in a domain name and build your own site. The main problem with web 2.0 properties is that yo do not "own" them. If they decide to change their terms of service you may find that you have lost your site. This happened very recently with squidoo, when they decided to change their TOS and disallow certain topics such as weight loss, etc. So just to recap squidoo can be good for the short term but definitley reinvest in your own domain when finances allow! Good Luck |

My opinion... You are wise to Suck it up and buy the domain names.... Just go with one or two in the beginning and make them profitable.... Then you can scale and buy more.. No need to buy a bunch before you turn a profit.. Having your own domain is essential especially when you are talking about PPC and Adwords. As far as a landing page.. I strongly recommend using Self Hosted Wordpress blogs for your landing page and affiliate marketing business.. Easy to set up... Google loves them.... Easy to get a High Quality Score... can customize in many different ways... and very easy to duplicate into totally different niches... Squidoo, HubPages, Wetpaint etc.. are great sites to use and set up to link to your main webpage to increase quality score and to increase search engine rankings but I would not use them for anything else then a feeder site... Best of Success to you, Roger S. |
