Hello all, I am wondering if it is okay to register a non-keyword targeted generic domain within a niche, say jerrysnichesite, and then use the subdomain, nichemarketing.jerrysnichesite as your main site? (assuming "niche marketing" was your originally desired domain name) Dont know if that makes sense. Let me be clearer. If you cant get your desired domain name, is it plausible to get any other domain and then create a subdomain with your desired domain name? And then have that subdomain be your main site. So all your content is on that subdomain, with nothing or little on the main domain. Is there anything bad about this? Anything good? Thanks! |

Not so good....you want the top level page to be the main page of the domain... if you cannot get jerrysnichesite.com buy jerrysnichesite.net jerrys-niche-site.com or something else! |
