Getting my first $100 check from Google

I'm excited as Google has just sent me my first $120 or so Adsense check. I haven't received it yet but I know it's on the way. The last 6 months I hardly made anything with Adsense but since mid July I started to hang out more in this part of the WF rather than in the general section and I've learned lots. Although it might not mean much to anyone (besides me), I've increased my Adsense earnings to $10 in July and I already have that much for August and the month is not yet over. For me it's a big step from $2-3 per month.
Also John's program (xfactor's) and internetmarketer99's threads helped me a lot, so I want to also thank both of them for me getting this far.

One major thing I've learned here is how important keyword research is. Since last November when I started in IM, I just never really understood it until really started to read every thread in this forum section. Thank you all for helping me (unknowingly) getting my first little Google Adsense check.

i remember when my 1st time i get a check from google.. same amount like you..$120++ . that make me very happy.. that was my 1st online income.. i belive if we work hard (and smart), we can get what we want..

p/s: dont forget to take a picture of your check! it will be one of the valuable memory..

Congratulations. I sort of wished I had received a check first but I opted for direct deposit.

Would be a cool thing to scan and print and toss in a frame.

Yes, it is a good feeling to be able to get that first check. It really confirms that one can make money with adsense sites and if you keep at it and fine tune your process you can keep getting bigger and better checks.

I too wish I had made a picture of my first check. Maybe I can make a picture of my first $1,000 check.

Keep making those sites and driving traffic.

I'm just resurrecting this thread as I'm quite excited. After getting my first $120 check after 9 months, I've now just passed the $100 for this month, which means in October I'll get my second check. That after 2 months only (Aug and Sep).

I know for some this is just 'small coins', but for me it's big. It goes from less than $10 a months to over $50 a months, only by following John's course. And I see that the more websites I put out there, the more the money it is. Enough bragging now, back to work!

Great news Kislany. I'm sure either Oct or Nov will be a $100 month for you. You next job is to duplicate your success and build up your revenue generating sites. I've still to crack the adsense route to wealth but to be honest I have spend more of my time working with Amazon as an affiliate. I have however set myself an objective of having one $100 a month adsense site within the next 6 months so lets see if I can achieve that. Congrats one again and I hope to see an update in Oct or Nov to this post showing anothe big check.

Xfactor and IM99 have helped alot your right with the openess in the threads and support that they give.

Research thats mainly my weakness finding the right words for the site but having only started in July I have tons to learn. Experience is everything I feel in this business.

Getting my first Adsense check was a defining moment in my career online. I still love getting a few hundred dollars every month because I usually forget about it - so it's just bonus money for me.

its really great to hear that, my case i just the same after several of my adsense being disabled i now have at last my first $102 in my adsense account just from a blog, i would have written the blog link here but i dont know the posting rules of this great forum, i am very happy legitimate internet biz is real.

Even with the wrong impressions most of my country people here (Nigeria) are having for the word INTERNET, not only did i made my first $102 i have made good sales though small as a newbie about $300 - 350 from infopreneuring in just less than two months as a newbie after applying some gimmicks which i never knew all this why.

Please forumnites i am currently searching for the cheapest and reliable autoresponder service, aweber, getresponse, sendfree, icontact are fairly expensive as a newbie. i would have preferred old getresponse account before the inception of this new GR 6.0, you have access to huge contacts in mailing list, but they said it is not available to new customer please help. here is my email address proudly i am from Nigeria and never shall i hide my identity cause i dont believe on prejudice or any form of racial marginalization i am always conscious of my online intergrity and credibilty cause it has taken me time to build.
