Default Need some info on SEO

Hi,
I read somewhere on a well known SEO experts blog that for SEO article directories are being discredited in terms of any SEO and should not be used as a key strategy but rather focus more time on PR and Blog and forum marketing in it’s place esp for SEO.

I though PR is not important anymore and forum marketing work for certain niches but is time consuming. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Article directories are most certainly being discredited as far as backlinks go...thousands of them!

BUT

The search engines appear to have chosen certain ones that they still give just as much link juice to as they always have - in some cases even more.

So do your own testing and find out which ones are best for your niche(s). Article directories still work for SEO and the time spent figuring out the ones for you is SO worth it.

Be careful of people who make blanket statements like that.

Allen

Just another new article directory.

Well, there are so many rumours floating around in the SEO space that nobody really knows for sure.

It's only natural that low-quality sites which have poor content will get discredited over time. However, site's like eza which have quite tight publishing criteria are held in high regard because Google knows it's great content

So, I'd say concerntrate on the more authoritive article directories.. eza, hubpages, then use other directories to point links to your eza and hub pages articles.

Hi Allen,
Thank you for your comment. I noted you a article dashboard owner. As you have the directory have you noticed any change in regards to articles posted?

I just got Magic Article Publisher which publish spinned article to +- 600 article dashboard directories.

A little bit disappointing as I submitted a article and out of the 600 directories 96 have approved the article and the rest I am still waiting for approval for 6 weeks now. The software together with the re writer works perfectly so there is no problem there.

Not sure if yours is in the list but will add it and send the owner of the software an email to add it as your directory looks nice.

I use UAW and get very good results as UAW publish to more blogs than article directories. I have never used EZA but want to submit 5 articles this weekend there.

Hi Allen just noted your directory is subscription based but I would still be nice to hear a reply on what I asked
