HI, Everybody seems to be complaining about how long it takes to build a link on a high pr domain. Can anybody tell me how long it generally takes to build 1 link. I mean is it really that bad and is it just better to outsource the process. I wouldnt mind doing it myself instead of paying somebody else to do it. |

I think finding places to get back links is the hard part, actually leaving your link on a site may take some time, but no longer than 5 mins.

1 link should take 1-5 minutes to build. THe problem is people try to outsource it and do too many in one day/week/month which gets them banned. My rule is never build more links in a day than you could physically do yourself. (Unless it comes from a press release or similar). |

If you find sites that are run on the same platform then you can get in a good rhythm and do about one a minute. I usually have everything I'm going to include in a notepad file so I can just copy and paste. I also always include an avatar and fill out a fair bit of the profile so it looks more real. What's worse than taking a few minutes to get a backlink is taking a few minutes to get a backlink only to find out that it got deleted. |

I use clipmate to store my backlink info, I use it for storing articles, variations of articles, keyword lists, a list of comma deliminated, quotation mark keyword phrases, underscore connected keyword phrases (propeller.com) I can't live without the damn thing, been a user since Terry Dean recommended it way, way back in 2002 (the paleolithic era of internet marketing) hmm, I *think* I'm an affiliate for clipmate... wondering where I saved the aff link... Oh, it's on the other computer's hard drive! | |
