Warriors,

Here are the things which I hve done to bring a site to # 1 on google, which has 1,560,000 competitors. It is a new site, Fine with ONSITE SEO

10 Bookmarks from 10 PR3+ bookmarks sites
10 Inner links on PR7+ site. (All get cached, I have submitted to digg)
20 Profile creations on related niche forum and add link as siganture or "user msg" - Get cache from google
150 Blog comments - ONTOPIC
300 Forums Posts - OFF TOPIC (Some forums with PR3+ - Only used 5-7 forums to get 300 posts)
5 REWRITTEN Articles submission to my blogger.com blog which has PR4+

Wait for 1 day, Done all these within 2-3 weeks.

Now on # 1

Really rocks....

I know SEO Cannot be defined., However, Say, If you have competitiors about 1,500,000 - 2,500,000, I am sure, these ways will help you

So you have proven you need a variety of Backlinks from a variety of sources. You've also proven that this business requires one to work.

But what you have not proven is a "Secret". There is no secret about working hard.

The only competitors you really need to target are on page one at Google, so that's actually only 10. And Google only returns 1,000 results regardless, so you're really achieving a top ten listing out of 1,000 possible pages, not millions and millions.

Of course reality doesn't sound as sexy as saying that a page ranks #3 out of eleventy billion pages, but that's reality.

Hey Jimerson,

That's terrific!

You could take your "checklist" and simply vary the numbers depending on strength of competition, and you've got a formula for top rankings i.e. "30 Bookmarks from 30 PR3+ bookmarks sites" instead of "30 Bookmarks from 30 PR3+ bookmarks sites" for stiffer competition, etc.

#1 on Google for what keywords may I ask? Soap nuts?
Steven Carl is correct, only the competition from page 1 counts and is the only people I look at. I know I love that feeling of seeing them go below me in the SERPs. Especially Amazon.com....

sometimes , it doesn't so hard to get in the first page .
try " most compatible browser" you can clearly see my site beat more than 34million . i get on the first page without any seo or buy link

all those methods really do work, but what niche were you in...

what was the keyword?

I may be able to help speed that process up so it doesnt take you 2 to 3 weeks because we all know time is money...and we all need money!
