Google Page 1 in Under 24 hours. I knew The Process Worked But This Is Amazing!

Apart from using article marketing to drive traffic to my own websites and blogs, quite a few of my clients who request articles to be written for their chosen market also use this technique - not surprisingly since it works if done properly.

I recently completed a batch of articles on the topic of outsourcing for one client.

Once the articles were accepted, I started to submit them (manually) in groups of three to four of the major directories including EZA.

Yesterday, EZA approved all three of the first submission.

Today, in under 24 hours, all three are listed on Google with the following results. (Just let me say that the searches performed were broad searches without quotes)

Key phrase A - position 1, page 1 out of 29.4 million entries

Key phrase B - position 2, page 1 out of 11.4 million entries

Key phrase C - position 8, page 1 out of 28.5 million entries

Result - one very happy client, one very happy writer.

hey thanks for sharing the info. Normally when you post articles do you post the same article on multiple sites? to how many sites would you distribute one article? Secondly, I have also had good results with this but normally the results dont last long, what is your experience?

That is great, but do you think the articles will stay there or you have to non-stop build backlinks for them? As some of my articles stay on the first page of Google after getting accepted by Ezine, and then they drop to second or third pages a few days or weeks later.

Morgan, I don't use submission software and I manually submit to the four directories mentioned earlier. I do check other directories from time to time but normally stick with these four.

I have tried submitting the same article to all four as well as making amendments to some but I always keep the primary keyword in the title. Both you and Pretty Jenny are right that sometimes results don't last long. I have found that this varies from niche to niche.

I also believe there is a correlation between that and how popular the article is especially with EZA in terms of click through rates, top position and so on.

I do get page 1 success with some of the other directories but IMO until EZA loses its position of authority, by far the best results will come from submitting to EZA.

Pretty Penny, I do spend time building back links for my own sites but not for any of the clients if it is not part of the contract and it hasn't been to date.

I have followed Chris's (EZA) advice in submitting three articles at a time and I have found this works better than submitting just the one. They are normally approved at the same time so I have three working for me as I get the next three ready to submit.

I am sure other tactics will work for other warriors - this is just how I do it.

Once my articles or the clients' articles are ranked, I do check their Google position occasionally but I typically concentrate more on the article click though rate and the conversion to sales. If, for example, the articles have a click through rate I am unhappy with, I will test them by tweaking the bio / sig.

I am also finding that my articles rank very highly nearly immediately, but you have to build backlinks in order to maintain the ranking. So if the articles start slipping, maybe you can recommend that for your client.

Agreed, some nice backlinks like bookmarks and High PR links will guarantee longer lasting ranking!

Article marketing is extremely powerful tools in traffic generation, don't give up! You can find more information about how to rank fast and high for your article, proper keyword search is the KEY!
