What is your favorite methods to check your backlinks?

What is your favorite methods to check your backlinks?

Sometimes I use UWCS or C. Kahuna for hours and don't have idea if I was successful or just wasting my time!

How do you guys manage that?

I use MarketSamurai.

But I've used Backlinks Checker Tool - Backlink Watch in the past as well.

Yeah, yahoo site explorer is pretty good. But google webmaster tools works pretty well too.

yahoo link explorer, but there is also LinkScape tool (paid) from SeoMoz also looks very good.

Neither Yahoo nor Google shows all the backlinks in their databases, but only a small number of them. Most "backlink checker" software just piggybacks on to the Google or Yahoo or other search engine via some APIs, so they won't be of any use either.
IMHO there is no tool that can show you ALL your backlinks.

Yahoo site explorer tool & Google webmaster central. All other tools pretty much rely on google's and yahoo's data.

That's right EVERY back link checker tool relies on search engines like google and yahoo which reveal a fraction of the real number of back links, therefore they are completely useless.

My favorite one is this free backlink checker It gives my backlinks from google and yahoo. Also tells me if those are follow or nofollow.
