Default Am I wasting money on my SEO efforts?

I have a $57 dollar click bank product. I just started paying a Indian $400 a month. He works really well and knows what he is doing... I just wonder if I will get enough traffic from Google to cover the cost of paying him and make a profit. Right now my site only get about 360 visits a month. He has only been doing off page SEO on the site for 2 weeks.

What should I expect?

Hi gotcha,

SEO takes a while to see results.

Are you being provided a report showing the locations of your link placements? If so, are you seeing any direct traffic from those links? Are the link placements on relevant pages with a fair amount of traffic?

Some links are much better than others. The best links are from relevant pages with lots of targeted traffic. You will recognize these links from the direct traffic you receive. Are you instructing your guy to where you want your placements?

What about your keywords? Did you do your own research or did you leave that up to him? Have you selected a primary keyword for each page that you can out-promote your competition on the 1st page of SERP? Some keywords will have weaker competitors on the 1st page of SERP, focus all your efforts on those keywords at the beginning to get those pages onto the 1st page.

You won't get much traffic from the search engines until you get your listing onto the 1st page for a keyword that gets a decent amount of searches. Focus all your efforts on a single page and a single keyword until you reach the first page, then move on to other pages and other keywords.

It is really hard to say without knowing what you are targeting.

I mean there is so much that goes into figuring out if it will be profitable for you. I would need to know more about your product, conversions, and traffic. You can PM me if you want.

Gotcha,

How many conversions have you had so far from that traffic? And are they unique visitors?

Just because someone works hard doesn't mean it generates the results you want... have you considered paying him by results, just like any affiliate product?
