When you go to the Google Shopping page (www.google.com then click on "shopping") it will give you a short list of Stuff to Buy. On top of that list it says: "A few of the items recently found with Google Product Search:" Does anyone know if that list is just random or is it in an actual order of most search to least searched? I'm thinking Google Shopping would be a good tool to use to see what people are buying if that list had anyting to do with product popularity. Mike |

Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you get to the end....the faster it goes.

It is not the actual order of most searched to least searched - every time you refresh the page, the list changes to a completely new set of 25 items. I'm not sure it is random either, it is probably just a running list of the most recent searches (which is why it is always changing). It is useful for finding niches that you might not have thought of - and since the list is constantly changing, there is a good chance that you will see a niche that everyone else will miss. |
