I've been scratching my head ever since I started the Adsense game. For one, my CTR is horrible - just around 0.5-1%. And this is spread across multiple niches - music, law, education, internet, insurance, and DIY. I've been using some (supposedly) very high CTR Adsense templates, templates which their authors and many members here have touted as giving them over 10% CTR. With me, though, the CTR doesn't go anywhere above 1% Adsense has been pathetically bad in showing up relevant ads on my site. I've had ads about diet pills on a law blog, rehab on a music blog. And then there were the horrible, horrible PSAs. I noticed an interesting thing in my Google Analytics panel today. One of the blogs for which I have Adsense tracking enabled showed "5 Adsense Unit Impressions" while my pageviews for the same day were 35. So what does this mean? 35 pageviews and 5 Adsense unit impressions? |

Have a great new year folks!
