I’m currently looking for that killer Domain Name for a niche I have discovered. As you would expect the name that best fits my chosen keywords is taken. For example say my chosen keywords were “dark chocolate” and darkchocolate.com was taken. How much of a negative impact, in terms of SEO, would darkchocolatetoday.com or darkchocolatelovers.com have? I’m still incorporating my chosen keywords, the last word whatever it may be is just filler. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |

| In my experience I find that either inserting another keyword at the end that matches another search term e.g. darkchocolatediscounts.com or darkchocolatereview.com , so you have both 'dark chocolate' and the longer phrase 'dark chocolate review' in the domain name is effective. Or, put in a keyword that matches your visitors intent e.g. 'shop' or 'reviews' (again). |
