Ok, I have been trying to read up on building an effective link ring. Seems like an idea that could be fairly easy to do if done right. But I think I have a general "idea" of what it is, so am I right? A link ring is simply taking Web 2.0 properties, creating pages on those properties (obviously with good keywords within your niche), link to each other on each property, and also on each property link to your sales page/site. Right? If my "definition" is right, then here are some other basic questions: 1. What are your favorite sites for this? Squidoo and Hub Pages come to mind immediately, but not sure what are some other preferred and well performing sites to use. 2. How many do you have in your ring? 3? 5? Seems like too many would be pointless, too few would not be good either. 3. Has anyone tried this with a niche blog? I know, I know...newbie type questions, but I've just never explored this. Thanks! |

There is quite a bit of information in the SEO section, but I use Blogsome.com, xanga.com, blogger.com etc.. There are quite a few out there. There is also some controvercy about closing the ring too. I haven't formed an oppinion yet, but maybe read up on this as well before you make a decision. I hope this helps a little.

In my opinion just test all sorts of different variations. There is no right or wrong way of doing it. |
