Google Webmaster tools and backlinks

Checking my toolbar my site has 76 backlinks according to yahoo, all of which are dofollow (created by me). BUT according to Google webmaster tools I have none... including a ignoring about 10 articles in goarticles.

I have just repinged all the sites that have backlinks (well, most of them anyway) to try get googles attention but I was wondering - how long do people tend to see that it takes Google to pick up on backlinks?

Google does not show all backlinks.
yes google see all backlinks but dont see them relevant or related or of interest to use some how.

Yahoo do show many more backlinks then the other ones

How about the keyword links or hypertext you can put on this site? Are they one way? Or do they help at all?

Google only export their links lists in google webmaster tools every so often , a little like their PR export , you will probably see your backlinks in webmaster tools after the next update

I also encountered that Yahoo reported more backlinks to my sites compared to Google, and it doesn't seem to be a timing issue. I meant some of the backlinks already existed for some time and yet it wasn't reflected in Google Webmaster Tools. Would like to hear an explanation to this if someone has it.

you would probably very new with your site ..wait for some time you will see in webmaster tool as well.
