As i understand co.cc is actually a sub-domain. In SEO terms, does it hold less weight compared to paid domain like .com |

Yes, of course it does. For SEO, I suggest you to use only .com, .org and .net.

I have a number of co.cc domains that are doing very well in the SERPs so I don't think they are much worse than a paid domain. I guess the biggest catch is that most people automatically would assume .com or .org, or other more established TLDs, so .co.cc would probably be harder to remember for most people. My only other worry with them is for me it hasn't come to renewal yet - I will feel a lot better once I do renew something and know there are no issues. Hope that helps |

| I have 12 co.cc sites on Wordpress, and nine of them are on the Google 1st page for their keywords. Again, the problem arises when people try to remember my longtailed keyword Domain or try to type it into a browser, they want to use .com or .net.
