After spending all day trying to find valuable keyword phrases to build Adsense sites around I think I have come up with 6. Unlike many who seem deathly afraid of giving their finds away while talking about how many hundreds of thousands of niches still remain...I am willing to put my keywords where my mouth is and give a couple of potential good one's away just to learn from you all about how to better pick them. I mean if there truly are hundreds of keyword phrases for the taking...no big deal right? There's plently more where these came from I figure. If there are not hundreds of thousands of keyword phrases still for the taking then we might as well all pack our bags and close this forum down. So here are two of my six finds for today (I am after 15 before I start even thinking of building sites around them). Code: Keyword Phrases LSV Competition ECPC
hugger ceiling fan 18,100 49,300 $3.53
koosh ball 18,100 41,800 $1.03 How do these look? If anyone cares to build sites around these, assuming they are good, by all means do so. I have taken them off my list. The koosh ball top ranking site is absolutely a joke. I think even I as a newbie could probably get into position 1 for this one. I have no idea how I came upon that one...I can't remember. Koosh ball? Huh? I didn't even know what it was before I saw it pop up on my keyword radar screen LOL. The hugger ceiling fan might be a little tougher to beat for position one. Overall it seems that one must sort through a TON of keywords to find a few good one's. I am not at all certain that there are hundreds of thousands still available for the taking. My real world keyword research does not seem to bear that out. Instead I find that there are quite a number of Adsense folks competing for the good one's. And that most niches are getting a bit flooded with internet marketers looking for...well...nice niches LOL. It's not just us that are looking. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry or Sally who is at all connected with internet marketing is doing the same thing we all are. Looking for top potential keyword niches. Niche profit classroom folks, Jimmy D. Brown folks, folks on this forum, SEO folks, web developers...you name it. Thousands and thousands and thousands of folks...all looking for rich keyword niches. It's getting a bit crowded out there. Or so it seems. They are not as easy to find as some internet marketers seem to imply. Any and all observations on the above keywords and my general observations would be most appreciated. Especially if you take these keywords and build yourself a $1000 a month Adsense web site ![]() Carlos |

nice number of searches per month. All you need is massive backlinks so that your site goes to #1 in google to reap maximum profits. All the best! |

hugger ceiling fan - lots of PR2 sites in top 10 with few backlinks koosh ball - looks like slightly tougher competition in the top 10 These are keywords I would consider leasing sites out for but, in general, I try to target even weaker competition. |

Thanks for the additional input you all. A couple of follow up questions if anyone cares to give me further input. wolfmmiii... Can you elaborate on what you mean by less competition? Do you think position 1 is beatable for the hugger ceiling fan? On what basis? What sort of site would you build around hugger ceiling fans if you were going to go for this one? An informational site about ceiling fans in general? About hugger ceiling fans in particular? How many pages would you shoot for having on your site? Why do you think the koosh ball one is touger to rank for given the absolutely joke that the site in position 1 there is? MustafaKamal...I understand that massive backlinks (I assume you mean of the quality kind) would do the trick but I don't want the need for massive backlinks to be there. Why bother to generate massive backlinks if I can find a few select keyword phrases that can capture the top spots with few backlinks. Do you see either one of these phrases being ones that one could achieve top ranking without massive backlinks for? Why or why not? I do appreciate your all's input for sure but I am hoping to get even more specific input from others so that I can learn how to do this better. Any and all further input on any or all of my questions above would be most appreciated...from anybody. Carlos |
