Unfortunately, most I found were set to 'no follow' - they probably realize how good a 'spam bait' they are...

This is good - although I thought it was a rather well-known technique. Anyway, I personally love to revise my childhood school studies, so it did give me a nice reminder, thanks!

Same here. And its better for them to stay that way. Otherwise they will tire of warding off the hordes of spam.

On another note, is it just me or most health blogs have reverted to no-follow recently?

Even if they are no follow....I am thinking you may get some linkjuice from them?

However, not sure if Google values them as much as they used to, maybe cus of commenters like colon cleanse, acai and anti aging (and me heehee though I did try to add value).

Yes, a no follow tag is still valuable. Yahoo, BING, etc ... Too many people discount a link just b/c it is "No Follow."
