Is there an easy way to get lots of backlinks fast?

I am under the impression that the more backlinks you have the better. I understand that quality of backlinks are preferred and I am using Anglea's and Paul's backlinks. I have purchased a couple WSOs advising how to get these links indexed quickly.

But....

It is taking a while to really build up the sheer number of backlinks. I have done directory submission, RSS ping / submission, social bookmarking via Onlywire, etc. Maybe that is all you can do, but it feels like I am missing a something.

Blog commenting usually works quickly. Find blogs in your niche and post comments on the post (leaving your website address in the space provided of course).

As you mentioned.. quality is one. Relevancy is two. If you have dog training site and have many backlinks from computer related sites, that won't help you much.

Three, getting hundred of links in a short period of time look spammy to the SE. So, take your time. But the best way is to outsource it. So that you can focus more on your strength rather than glued to your pc just to build those links.. if money is not an issue.

I am from a dif school of thought as far as "how fast" you get links. The Google bot does not think to itself "damn, this dude got links fast, he must be a spam site."
What Goog will do, however, is limit the number of links that actually count in a shorter period of time (this is something that CAN be set in the algorithm) so if you build 1000 links in a day, you may only get 50 or so per week actually counted...but they will all count eventually. That is why people ask often "when will my links show up?"
Now, if you have a domain that is aged and has some authority, it seems the links can and will be counted faster...kinda that whole algorithm thing again.

I get links from article marketing and Bookmarking Demon fast. I use Unique Article Wizard to get lots of anchored links fast, but I pay for that service.
I don't use article marketing as a source of traffic, I use it as a source of links. (I pay lots of money to have content written and re-written for use on UAW as well)

I also like to comment on do-follow blogs when I can, and I use tools to help find high PR posts on do-follow blogs. Keep in mind that the PR of the page you comment on is what matters, not the PR of the root.
IOW, a PR6 blog is cool, but if you commment on a do-follow post on that blog, and that post/page is a PR0, then you are NOT getting the PR6 juice. (someone will debate me on that one too I am sure)

See, i never really understood that..what if you have something that is popular and a lot of people linked to it then Google would kick out popular things out of there index? I always try to get as many links as possible

Michael, have you done article submission? that's one way.. You could also buy links

you are correct. build links all you want fast! if you have domain authority and trust, then your links will appear faster.

It´s more about quality than quantity in getting back links.As someone else pointed out, it can actually hurt if you get a lot of back links per day (like 200 or so).I like to use Google Blog Search to find good blogs to comment on.

Also, don´t worry too much about if it is "do follow".If you make an excellent comment people will visit your blog anyway.

LOL, this is a myth.
if this was the case, then I would build 10,000 links to my competitor in one day and get him knocked out!
Don't you see that Goog can't penalize a site for getting links fast because of my above example, so instead, the algo just counts them slowly.

I don't see Google banning CNN when everyone links to a hot story.

I am not talking about getting millions of links in one day. Even if you get say 25-50 per day - that would add up pretty fast and not be spamy. It sounds like the answer is posting on blogs. Which I have have done.

On the contrary I don't depend on Google Blog Search to find good blogs to comment on, because it leads me to nofollow blogs mostly. I'd rather look specifically for decent ones of related topics on specific commenting systems like intense debate, disqus, etc.
