How long does it take other warriors to rank a squidoo lens?

Hello all, I'm still at it. :P

I've been monitoring this squidoo lens for a week and a half, checking its backlinks on yahoo and google, and checking the SERPs.

I'm convinced it's not a competitive term. There's a webpage sitting on the first page of this particular search term that has 14 backlinks and -- get this, -No material-. They haven't written a single word on the topic. When you click on the link, it gives you a blank screen where an article would be, lol.

I've gained a large amount of backlinks (all of the dofollow. I checked) checked the keyword density, and everything about this particular lens and everything's in place, yet I'm still not even in the first 500 search terms for this particular keyword. I've ranked for other non-competitive keywords in the same night of posting the article, but this one seems impossible. :P

So, I ask you guys. When you write a squidoo lens (or any kind of article from any website, I guess) and do everything you need to make it rank, how long does it usually take for you to get on the first page of results?

My vote goes to 1 - 2 weeks... In fact, the time we take to rank a Squidoo lens is very dependent on the competitiveness of the keyword that we are ranking for.

I have a few Squidoo lens, some takes less than 3 days to rank on page 1 of google, while some other take 3 - 4 weeks. On average, 2 - 3 weeks.

That's what I thought. Looking at the front page of google SERPs, if nothing else, I should at least be in front of the page that has 13 backlinks and no content in the second week of posting. :P

I'll keep at it, though.

EDIT: google makes me laugh. I'm ranking for a few variations of my target keyword that don't actually get any searches. Well, I guess I at least know I'm in some google SERPs.

I only have 2 Squidoo lenses, and it took about 2 weeks for the first lens to get on the first page of Google for a very low-competitive keyword.

For the second lens, it took less than one week to rank first page. It seems that each time is different. I am also ranked high on Google for some very low competitive keywords on my blog, some of them have very few searches, but I still get a few visitors here and there.
