This is regarding a new site I created last week, the domain is http://cash-advance-paydayloans.org/ The site has 100% unique content. I did some social bookmarking on 8 sites and submitted it to RSS aggregators using RSS Bot and pinged it.
I am not sure if the site is indexed or not because of a strange thing I am noticing. When I type the site name in google to see if it will come up, I am getting a "Did you mean: http://cash-advance-payday-loans.org/ this is a different domain with a "dash" between the last 2 words. Here is the strange part, when if I click on the "google cache" drop down on the "PageRank option" of the SEOBOOK toolbar, it shows a copy of the site/page with the message on top - This is Google's cache of Cash Advance Payday Loans | Cash Advance Online. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 19 Sep 2009 19:28:30 GMT. I am not sure what to do now. Should I just take this content and create a blogger blog or a different domain name that is not identical to an existing one. Is this happenning because google looks at domain names that are similar and just displays one? If this is the case, then if there are 2 sites abc.com and abc.org, only one should be shown? I am totally confused Eager to know what you guys think Thanks a lot Sam

Make sure when checking type this in google search box : site:cash-advance-payday-loans.org this will tell you if the site is indexed or not.
You may also want to have a sitemap on your site aswell to get better indexed pages |

One of the things that have assisted my blog as well as my site to be right on the top of the first page of search engines for various keywords is making utilizable content that is well optimized for the precise keywords.

If Google has a cache of your site then it is indexed.

Your site is definitely indexed in Google. Just searched your site: cash-advance-paydayloans.org and 10 results came up.
A few other things I do to get a new site indexed quickly is claim it in Technorati and Feedburner and also add it to my Google RSS Reader if its a blog and I also link to it via SelfGrowth.com (which has categories for almost everything). I also add Google Analytics and submit a sitemap in Google Webmaster tools. Doing all this I can I usually can get a new site indexed in Google in just a few days (sometimes it takes a little longer though). There are lots of other things you can do to speed up the process, like getting some friends to bookmark the site for you and perhaps submit a page or two to Digg or Reddit and have them vote it up. Don't try and submit/vote for your own stuff though. That's a no-no. Anyway, hope that helps. |
