What is better for backlinks, Anchor Links or entire Website text?

What is better for overall traffic / website ranking / SEO / everything?

Would it be better to backlink with Anchor links to your website (great for keywords), or writing out your entire website name?

A lot would depend on what your domain name is and what you wish to accomplish. Off hand I would say Anchor text.

to get best results yo need to have several related keywords pointing to each page,

one Big rule is to focus on ranking page instead of a website,

so link to a page around a keywords with the main keyword and related keywords

don't acquire hundreths of links with the same anchor, it is much better to get related keywords pointing to your page

that's how i get pages ranked fast and furious

According to the guys at Stompernet:

You should keep the ratio between anchor texts and url links around 60% / 40%(60% for anchors)..

If your links are 100% anchors, this will raise an alert with SE that you're over optimizing and your links are artificial (i.e. spam) not natural.

i don't bother that much around ratio, but i vary the links by adding some "click here" "find more" and names and non keywords terms

just don't do 100% of keywords anchors text

if you do just some directories submissions you always be safe, asyou'll get lot of urls links instead of keywords

And just to thoroughly confuse everyone, Angela says don't vary your anchor text, use 100% same keyword and it works!!

i think anchor links are better but its also very important to get rank in google so SEO helps us to get ranking in Google
