I'm just wondering with a package like Paul & Angela's how often should backlinking be performed and over what duration. Every week, every two weeks, every month? Kevin |

You get as many quality links as you can. There are no limits. At the risk of getting flagged Paul and Angela don't know Sh** about anything in SEO other than getting links and selling their packets. They are not trying to rank anything, they are trying to make money selling packets. Think I am wrong? Look at what they try and rank? Non competitive terms. Anyone who wants to spend several hours a week continually placing links to non competitive phrases will rank for those phrases because no one else is really trying. Get into competitive niches and the whole all you need is backlinks theory falls on it's face. Google measures website age, time on site, entrance and exit points, etc. Backlinks are a big part, but only a part of the total equation. And you had best be very careful as to your choice of anchor text keywords. Backlinks are only a part of SEO. And you want as many QUALITY links as possible. If you are just link spamming then you might get filtered. But if you are building value into the sites you are placing links you can't build them fast enough. Angela places links on sites where she is clearly not welcome and in places they are not intended to be placed. She also places links very smartly on some sites, and cleverly. It works of course... but not in all cases. So the issue is always quality and value... do that and you can place as many as you want. I'm not here to Bash Angela and what she does. You might think so... but if you do then you are reading it wrong. I'm here to Bash the idea that all you have to do is fill out link packets to rank in competitive niches. Wrong. Smart people will take advantage of what she offers by carefully placing links that make themselves look like a valued part of the community sites she presents. Do it right you'll benefit, do it wrong and you are totally wasting your time. Place links where they don't belong and you make yourself a target. It's not a frequency or quantity issue. And all sites are not crawled or scored equally. Even on some very high ranking sites Google may not crawl the actual user profiles or they may choose to ignore them or score them very low. SEO is art and science, testing and trial. Good luck. |
