As you know, you can assign the latest posts or a page in wordpress, that will greet the visitor when they visit the sites main page: xxx.site.com
But does this post or page have any bearing on what the actual search engines judges in order to assign rankings? It seems like they donīt since my main site index page (which is now the latest post) is ranked pretty high (first page) and when they click on it they are taken to the latest post, which isnīt really seo optimized. I have the "all in one seo" plugin and it seems google puts more weight in what I have typed in there. Am I correct in my theories, what is your experience? I hope you understand what I mean ![]() Sincerely |
