As a webmaster, there is no excuse such as "don't know". There are thing that we should avoided in SEO, i was referring to a word "spamming" and i believe, we should not do this. * creating an automatic "doorway" pages. * cloaking * hidden links or hidden text * pages with irrelevant keywords * duplicate content on several pages * misspelling of certain popular keywords or website names * unrelated link farms |

What you stated are also called Black Hat SEO methods. They really should be avoided and use only the trusted and legal optimization techniques.
