Can you make $100 out of $50?

Hi,

I am with Hostgator and they give a $50 adwords voucher for their clients. Since I want to learn PPC anyway I think I might just take advantage of this offer.
I know very little of PPC yet, so I'll start at Google's own Learning Center.

However, the problem is that I don't have much more than this $50 to spend. I am being in a very bad financial situation at the moment and don't have a lot of cash to lose on PPC.

Is it possible at all to actually profit from investing $50 on PPC? Is it possible to make $60-$100 (exact numbers are not important, profit is) out of $50 with Adwords? I know it's possible in theory and that the actual success of the campaign depends on lots of factors. I am just wondering if I should give it a try or should I just forget about it.

My plan is to do some affiliate marketing through PPC and realizing a small profit on it. I keep reading contradictive info on adwords all the time. Some say PPC is a great opportunity for beginners. Others say PPC is not for small businesses (not to mention beginners). Where does the truth lie?

Also, since I am Hungarian. I've been thinking about doing PPC in Hungarian. Prices may be lot less and less competition too. Although I am not sure if Hungrians are ready to buy ebooks in English on Clickbank.

Anyway, you're given $50. Can you make profit on it with Adwords?

Yeah, it's completely possible, but not very likely. Even experts blow tons of cash testing new niches, keywords, ad copies, landing pages, etc. To expect a 100 percent ROI (or a positive ROI in general) from the start is unreasonable. That's my answer, possible but unlikely.

Go for it though, by all means go for it! The best thing you can do is target long tail keywords that are inexpensive.
