Also exchange links with other webmasters in the same niche, but exchange in content links, not link page links, which are almost worthless.

I think the easiest, free and legit way to get high quality and natural links is to write excellent, useful, information rich content and add it in your site. People finding that content useful will link to your site for free.

I'd highly recommend finding related blogs, directories, and related forums! Find ones that will allow you to make some dofollow links!

Link exchanging is a very old strategy and a waste of time. Maybe 5 years ago. There are many much more effective backlinking strategies out there.

good way - especially when you combine it with
article spinning and submitting spin ready articles
to the hundreds of article directories out there!
