Hello, Looking for program names or websites that do a good job of monitoring site rankings. I have a bunch of sites that are moving up in ranking but it is difficult to track them with the tools that I use because they only will rank my sites if they are in the top 1000. Thanks for the help. Brett Combs Geeks4Rent |

| http://www.marketsamurai.com/ can do this and a tool I just mentioned in another post can also do this is Free SEO Software | Traffic Travis. I'm not affiliated with either one. TrafficTravis offers a free edition and Market Samurai offers a free trial period. You might give those a try. Just a suggestion. ![]() -Brad |

No offense intended, but why would you spend time tracking sites that are not listed within the first 1000 results? Your time/money is better spent getting your sites in the top 1000...and then when they get closer to the first page, track your results. You'll know you're rankings are improving when you start getting traffic from the SE's | |

I like the resources Brad provided. In addition I REALLY like WebCEO, here's why: 1.) Easy to setup / maintain 2.) will track more than rankings (backlinks, indexed pages, etc) 3.) shows movement with color coded arrows for easy review 4.) allows you to track your competitors right along side for easy comparison/spying 5.) Awesome white label report view system. (This is really helpful if you do consulting, or even site building jvs etc) It's a more expensive for the full fledged version than the resources Brad mentioned. I don't know if the other versions have all of the same tracking ability. You should be able to find that out easily on their site though. If you like it, get on their list - they often run discount promo's. take care, Dustin |

Quantcast, compete, dataopedia are some of the sites that are able to track site rankings.

Thats the point, if you have a tool you'll know whether or not you're in the top 1000 and whetehr its worth you optimising. I only check upto 1,000 positions and personally use Brad Callen's SEO Elite 4. although at the moment it doesnt work on my Vista Machine. Ist pretty good. If you're looking for something free and powerful then you can aways use Web CEO although I haven't tested it much. Quote:
