Hey Warriors,

Could you do an *honest* SEO assessment of my personal development site?

It's indexed in google. Just launched about 2 weeks ago. Has 50+ articles but no sales.

I know this can do more. A lot more.

It's a multi-category site, like an online magazine.

buildabetterlife DOT org.

I know it needs more backlinks (only has a few) but I'm not really sure how to promote this one so that I get google traffic...

I'm also concerned about keyword optimization and organizing my on-page seo for that regard.

Without looking at it even if you aren't happy with the traffic then you need to do more promotion

As for the articles usually its good to do some kw research, pick out long tails that you'd use for a PPC campaign. Then optimize individual article pages around these onsite and do a little quick offsite SEO like a social bookmark blast from onlywire and you'll get some targeted traffic to those pages where you can move them to your sale.

If you have blog, please create fresh content and create article with your style, because google loved fresh content and unique content.

Hi Nicketas,

you seem to have a canonical issue. In your signature you link to your website with the www but your website doesn't serve pages with that URL.

You will need a solid linkbuilding plan for your website.

Right now it's hard to tell more but you need to research keywords (many keywords, especially because it's a multi niche website) and then build backlinks for every keyword you want to target. Build Web 2.0 properties, submit articles to article directories, submit RSS feeds, press releases, submit videos, participate in forums and social networking websites, social bookmarking, etc.

Next, if you want to build a list, you should tell your visitors why they should "sign up" and what they are getting by signing up.

Your links to your Kindle ebook are hiding below some of your posts... Your visitors could easily overlook them.

You will have to make an SEO plan for each category you want to promote.

I think quite a lot of work has to be done, before you can see any organic traffic.
