Anyone using Keyword Rockstar?

Hi all,

I'd like to know if anyone has been using Keyword Rockstar to create content campaigns? It's supposed to automate the creation of massive keyword lists, adwords ads and banner ads in a matter of minutes. Do you have experience with this software? Would you as a no doubt more experienced IM'er than me invest 997 usd (or 397 + 97/mo) to buy?

Yeah, that's why I ask about it. 'Expensive' is only relative to making more money than you've invested of course

I just finished a webinar about Keyword Rockstar to see what it was about. Doesn't look like a noob tool. The targeted placement feature looks interesting. I think someone with some content campaign experience could make good use of this.

Has anyone used this to make any money?

I found other threads about the program, just put 'Keyword Rockstar' in the search box. One of the posts mentions a review at

Overall it's pretty impressive. What I haven't found yet it an actual user who is indeed making money with the program. Anyone out there?

Instead of paying for that I can spend that money in campaigns!

I've been using Keyword Rockstar for a few months now. It's a fantastic tool, especially the automated campaign generation including image ads. Try and do that on your own!

I've just started a content network campaign for a CPA offer and will report the results at my Squidoo lens /KeywordRockstarReview. (can't post a link yet)

Check it out towards the end of the week when I'll show my results. In the meantime Jon has a couple of great videos that show you what it can do if you haven't seen them yet. The 2nd one you have to opt-in for. There's a link to those on my lens above.

I just posted the initial raw results of a short test with Keyword Rockstar to my Squidoo lens mentioned above.

With just the text ads running, I made an ROI of 23%. The image ads should start showing soon and they tend to have a much better CTR than the text ads.

How long is it taking you to get your images ads approved. I've heard a few weeks from some folks, I've been waiting over a week.

Just curious to hear if you've been getting better/quicker results.

BTW, good job on your CPA campaign...it'll be great to see you tweak it (do email captures for remarketing, offer similar offers, cut out the poor performing keywords and referrals on the content network, etc)

The image ads have been approved for me within 48 hours.

I agree that tuning the keywords and poorly performing URLs will help increase both the overall CTR and ROI.

Jon puts 110% into Keyword Rockstar. Some user suggestions for font control in the image ads were implemented very quickly and a new version is now available incorporating those changes.

I've been testing it for a few months exclusively using image ads and am nicely in profit. Although I am noticing the image ads for new campaigns are getting disapproved more and more often now with the reason "poor quality" images. Weird.

But killer results overall. I have to say John does over deliver, he listens and does implement stuff. If I wasn't doing so well with video and organic results I'd focus on this a lot more.

I continually get $0.07c clicks with image ads Love it.

I have to say I think the keyword research side of things is a little weak, I use market samurai for keyword research, and really just use it for the image ads/campaign creation, so $97 a month is not cheap for that.

That may be good one for you but Google Adwords Keyword Tools is very trusted an really good one that is totally free with many different features to provide best keywords for your campaign
