| Adbrite Ripoff Yesterday I tried this out and started ad campaign . Moments after my ad got approved there's site went into maintenance mode informing me that they would not be back up and running for six hours that immediately worried me so I e-mailed them asking to cancel my ad before I no longer had the ability to do so myself because of the site being down. By the time, there site was operational my bill was up to $95 . I was only looking to spend about $10 then canceling the ad , but because their site was down. And I no longer had the ability to cancel it my self I was scammed out of $95 This does not seem legal to me . Is there anyway to get my money back? I paid with my credit card. |

Do you have proof - perhaps a screenshot of the outage? Can you get Adbrite to admit there was an outage? If you can then you can contest the charge with your credit card company. I'd contest it anyway because someone on Adbrite's end has to fill out paperwork to reply And at least you will get the ball rolling. |
