Within the last month or so I can't get any of my GoArticles to get indexed by Google (they are approved by GoArticles). What I have been doing is using the same exact article that is approved by EzineArticles and then submitting it to GoArticles (and a few others) using Article Post Robot. The ones approved by Articlesbase and a couple others do get indexed, but none of the GoArticles. Before I had no issue with getting them indexed within 1-2 days after using APR. But recently I've submitted like 20 articles since late August to end of last month and none of them show up in Google when I do a search either by the url or title in quotes. Is Google cutting down on duplicate articles on various directories? If that was the case then why do they index the ones approved by ArticlesBase and others. Does it have anything to do with using a software to submit to GoArticles? Should I use a different title at least if I don't want to change the content? When I go on GoArticles homepage I take the url of the recent articles that have been approved and search them in G. The ones that are like approved on 10/9 have already been indexed by Google. Why are mine not being indexed? Any ideas?? I'd like to get some feedback from those using GoArticles for article submissions. Are you guys submitting unique articles to all the different directories? |

I usually throw a backlink or two at my GoArticles submissions. That will generally insure they get indexed quickly.

| But the weird thing is if you check out their recent articles category and go back to Google to search by that title or url of those articles they are indexed (i.e. the ones that have today's date on their homepage). So I don't understand what's wrong. Anyways I submitted an orignal article this morning manually to GoArticles and will see if that gets indexed.

I had noticed this myself. I have submitted lots of articles over the last couple of months and hardly any are showing up. I was led to believe that GoArticles was a great place for receiving back links from articles. There seems to be no way of working out how Google works. I have just seen a site that I have activated but not added any content to, is sitting at number fiveon page 1. It is 17 days old. I haven't done any promoting of the domain name, all I have done is add a few plugins which haven't even been activated Totally weird ![]() The hint about getting back links to the articles is a good idea, thanks for that. I'm off to create some content ![]() Cheers Viv |

I have noticed the same with goarticles and have found using other directories using the same content indexes my articles within a few hours.

I have been using Goarticles as well and have recently experienced the same. I first noticed this back in August. Before August all of my articles were showing up after a day, but now they don't get indexed for weeks. I'm using Angela's backlinks and I asked Angela if she's noticed others experiencing the same problems and she said yes but she didn't know why. I've since quit writing to Goarticles and am considering signing up with Ezinearticles. It has put a dampener on things. |

Well I did submit a unique article to GoArticles last week and did a bookmarking run on it and it was indexed within a few hours. Today I checked again in Google and it was no longer indexed. That's weird. If GoArticles are not going to be indexed any longer I will have to use another directory besides Ezine. Anyone can recommend a High PR and dofollow article directory besides Ezinearticles? |

I'm still having this problem, even though this thread is a few months old. Any one know what is going on with GoArticles? |
