Hi guys
I would be interested to know peoples PPC methods when working with a client on a tight budget. I think Just targeting the exact keyword and specifying country and even demographic for extra targeted traffic. |

Paul,
I would highly suggest using PPC banners instead of PPC Text. There is less competition, the results still come in, sometimes even better, the only con is, it takes longer to rach a visitor goal. However, top keywords $.10 on banners compared to $1.50 on Text |

in my opinion, if you know your target audience and you are on a very tight budget I would go with Facebook ads or atleast give them consideration. You can geo target down to a zip code, you can age/gender target and all on a CPC. def worth a look.

I would recommend going for long tail keywords that the buyers would use in their searches.. yes you should target exact demographic as well as turn off context advertising... As far as adwords is concerned, try to save every penny as it is easy to blow one month's advertising budget in a day.. And one more thing, do not forget to split test your ads...
Good luck |

Start with banners and if you decide to go into text ads, make sure you use long tail keywords.

Only problem with Facebook is that it doesn't convert!
I agree with the general consencus here, go for long tail keywords and banners! Use exact and phrase match and use broad very sparingly. Obviously, you'll need to keep the ad groups incredibly 'tight' by ensurting highky targetted keywords and ad copy only. You can also run ad scheduling but you may miss a whole lot of potential customers unless you know your target market comeons online at specific times. |

Or even give YSM and Adcenter a try. There is less traffic, but for getting your feet wet on a tight budget, theres no better place to start

I've done $800 in profit a day off of $200 spend on FB. I'm glad some of my competitors feel it doesn't convert. I mean, why would it? You only have access to 250m people broken down by demographic

Hey nettech,
Facebook converts bro, trust me. It's just a pain to get ads on it, and you really have to know your target demographics in order to get it to work. Sorry for semi-hijacking here. OP: As suggested, try doing some banners on the google content network otherwise target very specific long tail keywords, usually you can get those on the cheap. Quote:
