Wikipedia Links are No-follow.So,it isn't going to help you in Link Building Campaign as it won't pass any SEO Value. So,don't think about this from Link Building Perspective.

But,if the links are relevant, informative and provided that the edit is accepted, you will receive some traffic because people end up in Wikipedia for detailed information and many of them follow external links. If you are going to outsource bulk editing for targeted traffic ,that can be quite a good idea.

I am sure, you will easily find people who can do this for you.

You are right.Wikipedia cant afford to degrade its quality of articles. Everything needs to be done very naturally. If you end up editing 10 articles a day,its likely that none will be accepted.
But if you are fair enough and if you provide very good edit,it can be accepted.

Outsourcing someone and asking him to make one edit per day or one edit in two days from each different profile can be a good idea. But again, needs to be qualitative and try doing so from Different IP's to be safe in every way.

If you end up getting your link accepted and receive 4-5 Clicktrough per day, that is better than rankings at no 9 or no 10 for a keyword that receives around 5000 searches per month. Also, the keywords for which Wikipedia pages exist are likely to be competitive and requires some work to break into top 10.

This trick is worth a try.

This is a little sneaky but I have managed to place some incognito ads throughout wikipedia for some of my websites. I get maybe 2-3 clicks a day from like 10 links placed in there though. Not much traffic but highly targeted.
