Default Newbieish guy needs help with back linking...please?

Hi guys, Im more of a lurker than a particpator, but I help where I can... Anyway, I have been IM'ing now for about two years on and off, and recently i have been making a number of sales consistently...except..I have no idea how im doing it!

My question is this, I have big problems understanding a good backlinking strategy..
basically what i do is this... Find a bunch of comercially intentional lower competition keywords for my niche. I dont worry about the quotes i just use allintitle and allinurl to figure out how tough it is..

Then i write a ton of articles and submit to eza which then link to my landing page. I take a spun article of that article and submit it to other direcotries linking BACK to my EZA.

I then my go to socialposter and submit my landing page url there for some extra exposure.

seems to work, although it does take a lot of time...

My question is, how do i use anchor text effectively? Say i found a keyword and i want to rank for that keyword, how do i do that? For example, say i want to rank for the phrase "how to network a computer" would i create a bunch of articles on that topic and then in my anchor text put that phrase in to get the site i want ranked for that phrase?

does that make sense? Im also looking into linkwheeling too..and this is the main reason i want to know...Im just not sure if i should be using the same anchor text for ever site i use that links to the site i want to rank for..

I dont know if i have made myself clear, but its really confusing and hard to explain, but if you can share some ideas on how you guys do it that would be REALLY helpful as i feel i am on the cusp of becomming quite succesful.

Remeber karma always comes back thanks kindly.

Are you using google analytics? it's a simple copy and paste to your landing page.

Don't use link wheeling,

When you want to target a keyword just use the keyword in the anchor text linking to you pages

If I understand you correctly, you are doing exactly the right thing with regards to hyperlinking the keyword phrase - but nake sure the hyper is pointing at a page optimised for the same phrase ie. if you have more than one keyword phrase you need more than one landing page.

Make sure you also reference atleast one other of your articles - creating a trail around your material (swarm).

Think about blogging too - maybe more than one - again with keyword anchortect point to your landing page and a link to another of your pointer material.

Finally, forum signatures and, where permitted, anchor text links again.

The aboveis my standard template approach to a new site, but there are lots of ways to tweak and enhance this to get the positioning you want/need.
