Default Alternative To Squidoo

I just created a website which i think i will be able to get on the first page of google in about 6 months time.

obviously i don't want to wait that long to make money from it so i was going to get some web 2.0 pages on the first page for long tail keywords within the same niche

i was going to use squidoo but they don't allow the topic that i want to write about so what's the best alternative that can rank quickly?

You can use other web2.0 properties such as Hubpages, Blogspot, etc. Depending on the key word you're going after and how you're approaching it, you might not have to take 6 months to get on the first page.

There's a SEO strategy called "link wheels" (see my signature for free info) that can help you rank your target site and OTHER web 2.0 sites a lot quicker depending on your keyword.

Everyone wants to rank quickly. But as competition increases the factors Google uses to determine ranking extend beyond just linking.

Though hubpages are nofollow, they are ranked high in the search engines. Both Google and Yahoo gives importance to hubpages.
