I am trying to submit my site to alexa.com. It is giving me some HTML code to install in the "root" of my site. Where do I put this? I tried several different places but couldn't get it to work? Thanks for your help

it goes in the same directory as your homepage.
Root Directory means your starting point where everything else is contained. |

Are you talking about something that you would access in cpanel? I am trying to use this in a blog, and all I can access is the html for the site

I think it's only a text file that you stick in, the same location as your domain website folder.
