What wordpress plugins do i need for best seo results?

I am creating a content site for use with article marketing but which worpress plugins are needed to get best seo results?

All-in-one-SEO - just do a search for it in PLUGINS then ADD NEW

Here is what I have installed:
all-in-one
Google XML Sitemap
Contact Form 7 (sets up a contact page easy)
Easy Privacy Policy (sets up a privacy policy page easy)
Headspace2
Robots meta
SEO Smart Links
Simple Tags
Sociable
Yoast Breadcrumbs

If I was only have 3, it would be allinone, robots meta and google xml sitemap.

This is not a plugin point, but, if your theme doesn't already do it, I would change the source code tags for the titles of your widgets. Wordpress sets them by default at <h2>, which is just obnoxious. I would put them at <h4> or less.

Based on the information here, does this all work with the Wordpress.com blogs or do I need my own domain to use them?

Hi Clint,

Of course it work for both of them as all wordpress platform has the same user interfacae wheter you Host it on your own domain or not..

You could use either all in one SEO plugin, or platinum seo plugin, and robots meta tag plugin. This will do for wordpress seo.

I have a Wordpress.com hosted blog and there is no where to add a ping list so I do not think the interface is the same as when you host it yourself

Sorry - you can't add plugins to WordPress.com blogs. They're only for self hosted WordPress.

I would have to agree with the masses on this and go with the All in one SEO pack. I have found that it has worked really well for me.
