Default Split Testing Natural Traffic

Is there a google TOS friendly way to split test my landing pages that are ranking in the SERPS?

I'd really like to be able to AB test my sales text but only way I can think of doing it involves cloaking which is against Google TOS.

Ideas appreciated.

I would like an answer about this as well. You could possibly have the homepage use php to <? include('file.php') ?> and change that around from one sales page to the other. Not sure how that would affect SERPs though.

Go for the Google Website Optimizer, it's fast and east as long as you've got a nice stream of traffic.

It's funny, I never realised optimizer worked for natural traffic, I thought it was just for adwords. I will try it out, thanks.

The Crabb - I am worried about Google seeing that as cloaking.

I have got a little stuck with website optimiser. I need to place code on conversion page, but as the site is an affiliate blog this is a little difficult. I have wondered if there is a way to put it on the page that is used to cloak the affiliate link, but plugin I use doesn't support that.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've used GWO.

You are going to need a distinct URL to track conversions.

Just create a page that redirects to your affiliate, and put the code on there.

Is there a plugin that supports this? Ideally I want to be able to pass off my blogs to non-technical people to manage and it gets tricky if they have to start messing around with code.
