Can we get page rank and placement on multiple subdomains running on the same primary domain or does it get it all on the main domain.

Subdomains are considered individual pages on your website and they have individual PR. However, like all other pages, they are still linked to your domain (subdomain.domain.com for search engines is interpreted the same as domain.com/subdomain or any other page on domain.com). If you want completely separate interpretation you need to have different domains.

You are right miguel, but in my experience domain itself have a Better SEO than the subdomain, It's look like easy to have a high PR on your domain if you do proper SEO, And it hard to have a high PR on your subdomain if you do proper SEO just like you did to your main domain. Vaan |

Pages get indexed, not websites. It matters not whether it's a subdomain, subdirectory or a regular domain, all the usual SEO principles remain the same.
