My site hasn't been climbing the rankings at the rate I expected it to, so I'm currently looking at any onsite factors that may be contributing to this. I have a bunch of posts on my homepage, all with an image to go with them. I know it's recommended to have your keyword as the alt img value in some of your pics, but when I try to change it nothing happens. I have uploaded these pics, and I am now putting my keyword into the code as follows:- alt="my keyword" I have also gone to 'Edit Alternate Text' and put my keyword in there, but after I save and check 'properties' for the pic, nothing has changed I'm at a loss here, maybe I'm missing something really simple. I need any SEO boost I can to help my ranking so if anyone knows how to fix this it'd be much appreciated |

I've searched around(both here and Google) and can't seem to find an answer It's one of a few factors that's letting down my current onpage SEO.
