Okay, so here's the deal. I have two ads approved in the same campaign but they are not being run. I have about 100 low competition keywords set to phrase match that on average should only cost .50 cents a click according the adwords keyword tool. My max bid is set at .50 cents So why are my ads not running? Do I need to increase my bid even higher? Shouldn't I at least be getting some impressions? Also, next to one of my ads it says "Approved (non-family)" What does that mean? Thanks in advance for the help! |

When did you put them up? Even though they're approved they often take several minutes to start getting impressions. And even when they start getting impressions it usually takes Google several minutes to start reporting them. Trying searching for your KWP and see if you see your ad, otherwise I'd just be patient hold tight for a bit. |

One ad was approved yesterday and the other one was approved early this morning, around 2 or 3 am. I looked up one of my search phrases in google and discovered that there are no ads whatsoever running! Now I'm really confused. I'm definitely doing something wrong but I don't know what! |

It's hard to tell exactly what you are doing wrong without actually seeing your campaign. The ads may not be displaying because there is such low search volume that the actual keywords you are bidding on may be pending review. But I could be mistaken. Try raising your max CPC to $1.00 and see if that helps. Also, check your quality score for your keywords. They may be so low that they don't want to display your ads for what you are willing to pay. - Jason |

I cant figure this out as well as I increased my click bid 3 times as much as suggested. I've had my campaigns running for a week with zero impressions. My ad is showing only a 5/10 and I'm being very specific. I have no clue what to do here.

I have heard of times when users have a campaign approved but they are in fact banned from Adwords. I'm not saying this is your case, I'm just saying I've read a lot of this kind of posts and those people were having active campaigns and everything and no clicks. What they did was...they've sent emails to adwords's support and were informed they were in fact banned. So this is the worst that could happen and I sincerely hope it's not your case. Other reasons: 1. the keyword have very few searches per month 2. if they run on the content network it can take up to 2 weeks to get approved if you have a new account 3. they are showing active but in fact are in the review process Hope this help. P.S. Send them an email. This always gets your problem solved much faster. |
